​Welcome to ASHO's Events page, where we showcase the heart of our mission to foster peace, social stability, and sustainable development in the Amuru district of the Oromia Region and surrounding areas. Here, you can explore our current projects and initiatives that are addressing the pressing needs of the community.

​From disaster relief efforts to community development programs, our events highlight the tangible impact we are making on the lives of individuals and families in Amuru. Join us in our collective action to create positive change and transform communities for the better. 

​First Round Fundraiser: 
Contributions: 48 ASHO members Participation: Members from the USA ($16,100), Canada($4,600CA), Australia(3,600AU), and Europe(€800 Euro)
Purpose: Supported displaced people settled in Agamsa.
Purchased essential items: food, oil, clothes
​Beneficiaries identified by local church and community leaders
​Second Round Fundraiser: $27,821.00
    Sources: GoFundMe: $17,721.00
     ASHO Members: $10,400.00 Purpose:

Total amount handed to local elders and church.
Distributed to the needy individuals in the community.
​Third Round Fundraiser: $5,600.00
Contributions: 18 ASHO members for administration cost.


​Through these successful fundraising events, ASHO has been able to provide significant relief and support to those affected by displacement, violence and socio-economic challenges in the Amuru district. Join us in our ongoing mission to create positive change and support our future events to continue making a tangible impact on the lives of those in need.
